This was my first ever sports romance, and to say that I loved it is an understatement. This is so different from what I usually read by Angel, who I first discovered through her dark romance series Royals of Forsyth written with Samantha Rue.
Reese & Twy are adorable together. I love the friendships you see her forming with the players (and hopefully the future MMC’s of their own books).
Despite this being a much lighter read, it still had me blushing & wishing I had a hot hockey player for a (fake) boyfriend. I think this was a great intro into the subgenre, and it definitely has me wanting to pick up other sports romance recommendations! 💖
Vibes are:
✨ college hockey romance
✨ fake dating
✨ alpha male H
✨ shy h
✨ past trauma
✨ slow burn
