The Man He Used to Be: Dementia and My Mad Dad by Robyn Hollingworth
5.0
I read it last year but have been thinking about it a lot recently. The book is Robyn’s diary of giving up her job and moving back to Wales to help look after her Dad living with dementia. I don’t see a lot of books published about this illness, especially non-fiction books. My Grandma lived with dementia for 7(ish) years and I wish I had read it sooner. Having known someone who lived with dementia I still found it so intriguing to read, even a bit upsetting at times but I took solace from it. I think everyone should read it
