The Puma Years by Laura Coleman

3.0

There were portions that had me hooked, and there were many that didn't. Slowly building the trope of "the girl who doesn't outdoors well" is tiring when you already know she'll likely end up as the largest advocate for everything she spends the first 10 chapters complaining about. Watching Wayra grow and evolve emotionally was encouraging, but I appreciate even more the inherent flaws that made her continuously relatable. This was definitely worth the read, but I'll likely leave it on the shelf
