"The first Pride was a riot, the last Pride is a bloodbath."

This was a very fast, very entertaining read. I liked that it was gruesome without being too gross. I didn't find it over the top in any way.

All of the main characters were really fun. Very inclusive and well rounded. Lots of good social commentary.

I was truly laughing out loud reading this. It was a wild ride.

Personally, I do not think Leah had a redemption arc. It felt like too little too late. I agree with Wendy that she only did what she did because she wanted to be an icon, she wanted the notoriety for herself. Sure she wanted to help the community, but uplifting the community was only a secondary goal to her personal goals of being famous. Even Courtney could see that Leah only cared about her own image.
