5 stars, because I gave the first book in the Royals series a 4. This was infinitely more interesting, with a story much less predictable. I read on my iPad, so I was surprised how quickly I finished this book - in one afternoon - and was ready for more.

Smith and Belle are one of my favorite book couples, just because Belle is a sweet, yet sassy girl, who's been done wrong and is looking to survive heartbreak. Smith has a touch of maffia-man in him - you'll see why - and it just makes this entirely more interesting.

I have very high hopes for the 5th book, for I can't wait to find out Smith's secrets, and how this entire mob thing is going to play out.
