I've only read a handful of books by this author but am so happy I read this one. This is the story of biker Preacher and Gaia, a mafia princess running from her father's intolerable hold on her life. As a favor to her brother, the club decides to help hide Gaia until things get "worked out". Preacher is assigned babysitting duty and can't help but eventually fall for her charms...I mean, he's literally forced to after some antics she pulls that she thinks are ways she'll be safe (plot twist - they're totally not gonna keep her safe). This was a quick, fun read, and although it's Book 4 of the series, it's absolutely enjoyable as a standalone, so even if you're not into reading the other three, I highly recommend this one. And while it doesn't end in a cliffhanger, there is a little surprise at the end that really makes you go "hmm" so I'm anxious to see what's up next in this author's world.
