Killing Sarai by J.A. Redmerski

5.0

This book gets 5 gold stars! It was so suspenseful and the twists involved in the plot were perfect. I haven't been so addicted to a book since I read the Kathleen Turner Series.
I did not like the author's other series The Edge of Never mostly because it felt too young for me but when I read a review commenting on the romantic suspense element I decided to give the sample a read and it absolutely hooked me from the beginning and kept every page turing. You feel as though you understand Sarai's decisions and while I am more inclined towards narratives the point of view from Victor was just enough to help build the relationship in the book especially since he is an anti-hero. This book crosses lines with good vs evil and even makes you wonder if you just justified the means to an end. If you like to read happily ever after this is not for you but if you like story rough and real give it a try. I LOVED IT!
