I honestly really enjoyed this book but it's definitely been my least favourite out of the three Emery Lord books I've read. My main issue with Open Road Summer was the trash talking of females and it didn't even come from a guy but the main character, herself. Reagan wears tight, skimpy clothing and a push up bra to showcase her cleavage, yet when other girls in the book wore something similar she would slander them by calling them skanks, tramps, etc.

But there was also a lot to love. My favourite part was actually the friendship dynamic that runs throughout the entire novel. Lilah and Reagan have been close friends for years and seeing them on tour together, going through hardships really made me realise how much I love my friends. I also really enjoyed the romance between Reagan and Matt Finch. It was just super super cute.
