Now that everyone knows about magic, society is doing exactly what you would expect: some are trying to find ways to militarize/weaponize it, some are terrified of it and view magical people as non-human, some accept it with open arms, and some are downright evil about it. Great adventure, interesting plot - can't wait to see what happens next. Reinforces that you should always do what's right, even if it is hard, and no matter what you decide, there will always be consequences so don't let that stop you from taking action.
