This is adorable! I love Oliver Jeffers' imagination in all his books. The illustrations are so expressive and lively! I love that Floyd has his own style of logic for problem solving. Way to think outside of the box! I have to figure out a way to incorporate this into a storytime event.

As an adult, I love Jeffers' handwriting font, but thinking about what would make the book most accessible for beginning readers, I have to echo others in suggesting that cursive might not have been the best choice for kids. Especially since they are halting the teaching of cursive in schools.
