The first word that would come to my mind if you asked me to describe is book would be: humorous.
In fact, even though the plot is very intricate and entraining, what is most notable about this book is its humor. It seems like it doesn’t take itself too seriously and I loved this aspect of it (that I was already able to enjoy in the illuminae files series). I must admit that not everyone will appreciate this sense of humor, because sometimes it might feel too unrealistic for the situation or forced and the jokes could seem childish, but personally it worked for me. I also loved the found family aspect of this novel, that I expect to develop even more in the next instalment. Moreover, the plot was also very interesting and I can’t wait to find out what will happen next. Nevertheless, I must admit that sometimes I didn’t get everything because too many things were going on at the same time.
I really recommend to get through this book via audiobook because it a different narrator for each POV and each voice represents perfectly the character it is playing.
