This must be one of the most delightful books I've had the joy of reading in a long time. Goldman's abridgement & framing device for the original text is what really makes it work. His love for the original text shines through and it feels like you share the story together. Each character is colorful and memorable in their own ways. It's a fantastically fun to read adventure.
