I actually read this originally back when it started on r/nosleep. I had gotten away from reading some nosleep stories, so hearing that this was published into a full novel got me super excited to read the published version. The premise of this story has always stuck with me

For the published version, I feel like it expanded on the original stories and gave a more fulfilling ending than the original. If you’ve read the nosleep version, you’ll be happy to know there are some original chapters

And there’s an expanded backstory for the Rules - which I feel gives some good closure for the narrator’s journey
