The absolute most exciting thing listening to this book was that I caught my cat falling down some stairs. Comedic gold.
I'm not afraid of far fetched plots in thrillers. I go to them to be thrilled, not for a dose of reality. The issue I have here is that it's just not compelling. I find it too spoon fed at times and my empathy towards the poor little millionaire is... limited to say the least.
I was really concerned about the addition of DID but seeing it be a fake out was a relief. I don't need that in my life.
