This is my 1st Vonnegut novel, and it might actually be the strangest book I've ever read. There were a few things about the book that bothered me, particularly his use of n****r when referring to black characters. I know this is a product of the time it was written, but it still bothered me quite a bit. I will pick up another Vonnegut novel and see if it has the same issues.
