Her Name Was Rose had an interesting plot, and I think people who like slow-burning psychological dramas will enjoy this one. I read a little over 100 pages, and just couldn't get into it. It's a little over-the-top, and you have to be in the mood for that sort of story. I feel like the story was trying to pull from Gone Girl & The Girl on the Train a little too much. I probably would have enjoyed it more it it was standing on its own, but it felt too similar to other stories.
