Christie excels at creating an atmosphere of paranoia and dread, with each character’s suspicion and fear mounting as their number dwindles. Her  misdirection kept me guessing until the very end, making it nearly impossible to predict the culprit’s identity or the resolution of the plot.

It had a relatively good storyline, but it was very predictable, and sometimes had to force myself to continue reading. The best part of the book is the end when the mystery is revealed.

Despite some dated elements, the novel remains a thought-provoking read.
