Wow, this story was absolutely beyond amazing. I know I keep making this joke, but I actually think it’s time that I make a tag for queer books that made me sob. Because yes this absolutely did, in some of the best ways possible. I truly connected with Felix’s struggle to figure out his gender identify as I’ve been going through that mental back and forth myself.

Also, I just love how queer everyone at their school is. While not everyone understands cross-sectionalism (and might not be great people), its so nice to see Felix’s core, trusting group to be so supportive. It’s truly an amazing, authentic story that I think all young people should read.
