This was a great book full of strategies for classroom management.\nDefinite must read for first year teachers (and every year for any teacher).\nThere is no need for the consequence to be immediate\nBe consistent\nConsequences with empathy\nGive choices when possible so you've 'earned' dictatorship on important issues. But make sure you can live with both choices.
