Wild Vet Adventures: Saving Animals Around the World written by Dr. Gabby Wild with Jennifer Szymanski

My oldest daughter just turned 9 and she's wanted to be a vet since she was 5. This stunning National Geographic Kids hardcover arrived just in time. She has always wanted to be a veterinarian and that VERY morning told me “I’m not sure if I want to be a wild vet or a vet like Dr. Z (our puppy Luna’s vet)”. This was such a perfect gift for her which she immediately shared with her little sisters. She felt especially special reading what Dr. Gabby Wild wrote specifically for her. Now all she’s been saying is that she wants to be a wild vet like Dr. Wild!

Our family cannot get enough of how wonderful it is to read about Dr. Wild’s life’s work traveling the globe to help & heal wildlife through the spectacular photographs & her explanations. The book is sectioned into different continents which I love. My children really loved learning about the different animals & her experiences.

We are displaying this book in the family room all the time. Not only to immerse ourselves in the photographs & incredible stories but as a reminder that our young daughters can be whatever they want to be. Strong, intelligent female leaders who can travel the world helping people or animals and protecting the globe.
