I was able to squeeze in one last book before the month's end, and it was a five-star doozy. It was so compelling and really beautifully written. This dystopian book follows a plethora of characters as they struggle in their new lives after a horrific disease wipes out an estimated 99% of the world. I've wanted to read this for a while now as dystopian fiction has always been a favorite of mine, but unfortunately COVID put me off of the genre for a while. I'm now back working and living a mostly-back-to-normal life so I thought I would give it a go. I'm really glad I did. I loved every single second of this book! It also included an unexpected sprinkling of Hollywood fiction, which is another favorite of mine, so that was a fun added bonus for me!
