It took me a few chapters to get hooked, and the ending felt a little too perfect, but my God was this beautifully written. The characters are artfully developed, and the story is interesting, dark, and hopeful, and it reflects a pulsing story of the modern age of how immigrants fit into the mosaic of Western cultures.
