The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides

5.0

Alex Michaelides takes us into a world of violent mental health patients.
We take an outside look, like peeking in a window of a mental facility and it’s hand full of patients. Particularly Alicia Berenson.
From the view point of her therapist Theo who seems to be a little obsessed with her as is most of the men surrounding her life we try and discover how Alicia got to be where she is.
Is she crazy? Is she guilty? If so what made her this way? It had to of stemmed from childhood. Theo walks through Alicia’s past to try and help her. But is he really trying to help her or has he invested more of himself in this then he should have?
A world wind, no a tornado, no a hurricane of second guesses, regrets and what ifs. This book will have your toes tingling at every page.
