I liked this one though it wasn't nearly as good to me as The Surgeon. I think probably because it spent a lot of time on extraneous things, like Maura and Jane's personal lives. I mean I guess it's character development, but it took away from building any suspense in the actual murder mystery part. It was still a quick read and relatively entertaining, but not as good as I'd hoped.
