HOLY...SHIT! Okay, I read the blurb for the book...I read a few reviews from ARC readers...but I was in no way prepared for how awesome this book is! I wasn't entirely sold at first, but the minute Cass showed up in those pages, I was a goner. Warning - this is not for the faint at heart. Zac, Apollo, Cassius, and Reuben are NOT nice guys...they're at Saint Amos for a reason and you get the feeling immediately that something dark and insidious is going on, but the author builds up the suspense of what they're up to so well that I was ready to burst by the time backstories start to be revealed. And while Trinity is no helpless girl, she has no idea how far in over her head she really is. But, boy, do they show her! There is so much tension, angst, and what feels like plain hatred sometimes between these characters. But here's the kicker...you can't NOT like them!

Now, this is not a standalone and it does end on a cliffhanger, so you'll have to wait for the sequel to find out where this story goes, but it is going to be worth the wait. I'm ashamed to say this was my first book from this author, but I have fangirl stalked the crap out of her since and I can't wait to devour the rest of her books. The writing is superb and her detailed storytelling is out of this world!
