This was a really charming read, and no you don’t need to know anything about astrology to read it. I’m pretty impartial to astrology and horoscopes but I still ended up liking this book, overall.
I say overall because I loved Archer, and even the halfway enemies to lovers, but man Miranda is really dense for someone who is supposed to be so smart! If I was Archer I would have walked away so early because wow, the signs were there and Miranda just covered her eyes and kept going. Archer even says what his big hang up is and Miranda doesn’t think twice and even still gets confused! Like, girl.
But I also really like how well-rounded this story is. Miranda has some family issues that she handles pretty well, but she also has a good support group in her Aunt and Best-friend. This book isn’t just about the romance and the two characters don’t just live in their own little world. There’s other elements moving the story along which I really enjoyed.
I mean, as much as I can complain that Miranda was blind to what’s in front of her, I devoured this audiobook in one weekend so let that say what it does about what I thought: I couldn’t put it down.
