The constant changing of perspectives is definitely... a choice. I struggle reading first person POVs in the first place but the way it goes back and forth between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd POV feels like a mess. Normally I can push through it if the writing backs it up, but it's just not worth it to me. It comes across as a poorly thought out concept. Maybe someone else will love this book! But personally I just couldn't do it.
