The most fantastic story I’ve ever read. I cannot believe N.K Jemison was able to do this within the space of a short story. The world building was exquisite, I have never been much of a Sci-Fi reader but I devoured this and I’m so ready to dive right into Jemison’s backlist with immediacy.


Easily one of the top 10 reads of the year.
