The Woman They Could Not Silence: The Timeless Story of an Outspoken Woman and the Men Who Tried to Make Her Disappear by Kate Moore

fast-paced

5.0

There is soooo much I can say about this.. But I'll keep this one short and sweet..
If a man ever, and I mean EVER, accuses a woman of misandry - I am going to refer them to this book, force them to read it in its entirety in front of me, then eat its pages soaked with their tears. I never want to hear from the fragile male ego when they refuse to hear the shitty things they do and refuse to take accountability when they got away with shit like this for literal centuries.
The feminine rage inside of me is burning real hot.

P.S. props to the author for her extensive amount of research that goes into all of her books. Also recommend The Radium Girls: The Dark Story of America’s Shining Women.
