Starling House by Alix E. Harrow

adventurous dark hopeful mysterious slow-paced

4.0

I found this book to be very slow to begin with, but I was intrigued enough by the plot to keep reading. The second half was a hell of a lot better, and I was really engrossed in the plot and characters. I felt sorry for Arthur, and I'm glad that he met Opal, and they managed to sort things out. (IYKYK). I loved the banter between Bev and Opal and how Charlotte tried to help Opal in so many ways. I loved reading about the Houses antics as well.
