“Don’t think of it as dying” said Death, “just think of it as leaving early to avoid the rush”.
Incredibly whimsical, chock full of witty one liners that really do give you a giggle.
It’s been years since I’ve read this book and I have absolutely no regrets choosing to listen to it this time round. Colin Morgan’s voice was MADE for this kind of fantasy, so much so that I listened to it for 5 hours straight and just didn’t get bored. However, the stand out is Peter Serafinowicz as Death, absolute perfection.
