The Night Circus is lush - the hardback is gorgeous, all in red and black and white, and descriptions in this novel are abundant and sublime. And that’s about it. Sigh.
The characters are not defined, the relationships are underdeveloped, the story is barely existent.
If you like circus and descriptions of fantastic settings, you have a chance to enjoy The Night Circus. Me I am moving to the next book, and hoping it will be better.
