I first bought this book after I felt so connected to The Isolation Journals during COVID. Since I purchased the book, I know that Jaouad was diagnosed with cancer again.
This book is so heartbreaking but also hopeful. My favorite part was the outline of her road trip after treatment.
I also thought it was very interesting to hear about how Jaouad processed her break-up with Will.
