Thorns of Malice by Maggie Cole
5.0
I enjoyed this one even more than the first. This duet is probably one of my favorites this year and Maggie did not disappoint her readers with these. I was so excited to see Ivy in this one and see what kind of tushwhooping she was going to hand to all of those who did her dirty in the first book.
This took me through it…up and down and around in emotions right until the very last page. I couldn’t stop turning pages and reading to find out what was happening next (I dedicated an entire reading weekend to this). Ivy & Dax are that toxic destructive relationship we all love and I loved watching them grow and develop even more in this book.
As usual, please make sure to read your trigger warnings before going into this book. Please make sure to read book one and then this right after! This duet is absolutely one to put on your TBR asap.
