The Black Swan: The Impact of the Highly Improbable by Nassim Nicholas Taleb

4.0

A well thought out book.
An important part of his Incerto series.
It has a lot more math and theory than Skin in the Game which made my brain hurt. However, I’ve been inspired to pursue mathematics much more than I have thus far. The central idea here is an important one to have in your intellect’s arsenal. Reading two of Taleb’s books has greatly altered my thinking on the macro level. He’s abrasive here, but less so than his latest book given that this was published a decade prior. Perhaps he’s added more professions and events to his “shit list.” Now, onto Antifragile.
