Caius & Aurora: The Bond Will Not Be Denied! 5 Stars

Dark fantasy is slowly becoming one of my favorite genres. The reason in part due to this book right here!

The Umbra King features Fey, Aurora aka Rory. Rory was a witness to her sister's murder and goes on a killing spree, unaliving everyone she greets with a black soul. She is caught and sentenced for five-millennia to a place called Vincula, a prison realm. She soon finds that life won't be easy for her as the dreaded Umbra King, puts out the word of her crimes, making her a target for the rest of the inmates. We soon learn that there is more than meets the eye with this realm and its ruler, Caius, the Umbra King.

This book pulls you in from the very beginning. I instantly loved Rory and her fire. Her character is so strong and she finds her match in Caius. They both share a burden that unites them and their attraction makes you look forward to all the scenes these two have on page.

Lots of smexy stuffs and supporting characters that keep you enthralled in this mysterious realm as we switch back and forth between Rory's home realm of Erdikoa, when she leaves family and friends, including a mentally ill mother. I cannot say enough about this story without giving too much away. I will tell you; it ends in a cliffhanger that will have you reaching for a tissue like me. I wish I could give this more than five stars.

If you like reading characters of varying species, myth, and prophecies, with a heavy dose of sexually attraction that will not be denied, then this book will not disappoint!

Happy reading!
