I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy

emotional reflective sad fast-paced

5.0

I know some people might think that memoirs like this is just a pity party.. a "poor me, my life was shitty like so many others but pity me." I don't think that at all.
I think what she wrote was brave. Brave because some people probably DO think that.
It brings awareness towards how toxic parents are towards their children that force fame upon them.
People who force their children into beauty pageants because the parents just want acknowledgment that they made a beautiful baby, a success.
Bad things often happen to those who were forced into fame.
Michael Jackson, McCauley Calkin etc etc.
I wish other people could be brave too, brave to help, brave to ask for help.

I wish I was brave.
