as the cover says, “a joy from the beginning to the end.” a story of childhood friends that bloom into lovers, even depicting the teenage sexual awakening and topics not typically discussed regarding teenagers. it truly restores one’s faith in love and inspires the act of fighting for those you love, no matter how long you’ll have to wait for them to break their possibly decade-long silence. my only critique was i felt as though the main characters covered up all of their problems simply because of the fact that they “loved” each other, which often ended up ending arguments, which to me, wasn’t very realistic.”
this novel would be my first to recommend to those searching for a romance book with plot twists and a “blueprint” fictional man.
