Sure to be compared to another, more well-known southern vampire series, for my buck THIS is a far superior outing in the vampire romance genre. HILARIOUSLY written, full of pop culture quips and entertaining side characters, I loved this book in large part because the heroine, an erstwhile children's librarian, is basically ME. :D
