Wow. That was my only thought at the end of this book. The plot is simple and well-crafted. The characters are clearly defined and well-developed. The retellings from different POVs is such a powerful device for unraveling all aspects that led to the death of Manami and the final, mind-blowing conclusion. I was immediately drawn into the teacher's story at the beginning and then became even more invested, and more astounded, with each retelling. And that ending. It was so powerful and...I don't have words. I had to sit with it for a while when it was over. I highly recommend if you like psychological thrillers that are ultimately about revenge.
