This book tore me apart and put me back together in a matter of 240 pages. Not only did the story touch my literal soul, but also the illustrations are stunning. I think it would be impossible for my review to be objective but I think even if you don’t relate to the experience of the author, you will find bits of humor and heart wrenching inner monologues.
