The Stainless Steel Rat by Harry Harrison

A very entertaining retell of one of my favourite SF series. The artwork is fantastic and filled with the sort of background detail you just don’t find in a lot of comics these days. The story follows the novels pretty faithfully and where it doesn’t - Jim’s disguises that involve plastic surgery, f’r’instance - you can easily forgive. It also adds a few jokes and ideas that were t in the original text and makes the whole thing a little bit more than just another adaptation.
