At Thanksgiving I read #24 in the Series. Decided to go back to where it started. Bit dated in places after all it was published in 1991. I preferred older Lucy of #24 where she's closer to my age. I'm not a fan of whiny kids in stories.
This isn't a series I plan on reading every book. Will probably pop in for various Holidays and see what's up with Lucy. Most of audiobooks look to be around 6 hours. So quick reads.
***If reading about the death of pets is upsetting to you, you should probably skip this one.
⚠️ Minor Spoilers.....
As to some Reviewers comments on Animal Cruelty in the book; the murder of the family cat is never explained. But neither Lucy or her family are ever mean to animals. Lucy thinks the cat has gotten hit by a car. It's something that happens. They don't want their children to see it. They're pragmatic. ⚠️
