There were some passages and quotes that hit me profoundly, and I wish I wasn't too distracted to pay attention to how carefully crafted and worded this novel was — because I sincerely think this book is beautiful, i was just not in the right mindset at the moment.

Maybe I'll give this a second read in the future, to immerse myself more deeply.
