» PLOT «
Two centuries ago, three sisters were sentence to death for being witches after seducing the townspeople's husbands, brothers, and fathers. Now, every summer, the three girls return in the bodies of the girls from the town to kill boys as their revenge. On the eve of the sister's return, a newcomer named Bo arrives in town. With nowhere to stay to work, Penny offers Bo a place to sleep and work. But as the deaths and suspicion begin to pile up, Bo and Penny must decide whether they can trust each other or risk their lives.

I will never get over this ending. I both love and hate it. It has ruined me.

» READABILITY «
This was a surprisingly fast and easy read. It was medium paced.

» CHARACTERS «
The characters in this book are way better than in Winterwood. They are a lot more likeable and realistic.

» WRITING «
The writing was pretty good. It's not super flowery or beautiful, but it's really easy to read and digest.
