Daughter of the Siren Queen by Tricia Levenseller

3.0

50th book

I was robbed off a spicy scene but I ain’t complaining tho.. I personally liked DOTPK better but this one focuses more on Alosa’s relationship and history with her crew, also, we get to see, even just a glimpse, of the sirens, which I loved.

The duology was not enough and although the writing was not “the” best, the world building has so much potential. I itch to know more about the sirens and the pirate politics now that *he’s* dead. It would be interesting to see a book focused on one of Alosa’s pirate crew or a book with a siren’s perspective. Her crew is perfection, they all have interesting stories and pasts to share, it was such a waste to just brush them off, especially if the majority of her crew are women who joined the seas just to get away from the men infested land.

Anyway, Riden, my man, my emotionally unstable man, you good
