I still found it as creepy as when I had to read it in high school. Despite the fact that 1984 has come and gone I still feel that this novel is warning us to beware of the future. Maybe moreso now than ever before with all of the modern day technology -- we can never truly know who is watching us. It would be very interesting to know what Orwell was like in his personal life -- creating such a terrifying world.
