I absolutely love this duology. It’s funny, it’s wild, it’s true and realistic while being extremely fantasy. As I said in my review of TCWB, there are some of the best representations of Staten Island in Aislyn. I adored seeing avatars from other cities and learning about those cities. This book is just so NYC: hard and tough, loyal, sweet, vulnerable.
