A House with Good Bones by T. Kingfisher
3.75
it has that broad, bland, liberal approach to humor and tolerance that I find so exhausting in contemporary pop fiction, but for all that I still found A House with Good Bones brainier and scarier than I expected! the archaeoentomologist stuff didn’t feel like someone spent an hour reading Wikipedia as the entirety of the preliminary research, as opposed to the marine biologist stuff in the dreadfully stupid Our Wives Under the Sea. big titty bug scientist and hot gardener will fuck and I approve.
