Probably 3.5 stars. Lots of cliches in this book, and it was hard to become invested in the characters. I also don't really read a lot of fantasy dragon books, because they aren't really my thing. However, the most redeeming quality of the book is the message that the greatest treasure we can acquire in life is family and friends.
